History

The Ex One Company, LLC is committed to transitioning breakthrough manufacturing process technologies to the world’s factory floors through research, development and commercialization of advanced equipment, materials and services. The Ex One Company, LLC was formed in 2005 when Larry Rhoades, the founder and CEO of Extrude Hone Corporation, sold the technologies related to abrasive flow machining, Surftran electrochemical deburring, and ThermoBurr deburring to Kennametal, Inc. Larry, who died tragically in April 2007, founded the company to serve as an incubator for inventive, new technologies that have the potential to dramatically improve manufacturing techniques in the US and worldwide.
